Elizabeth Ranade-Janis
Elizabeth Ranade-Janis, is the Anti-Trafficking Coordinator for the State of Ohio. She manages Governor Kasich’s Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force and works in close partnership with local service providers, law enforcement and advocates to effectively combat human trafficking as a state. Priority initiatives include changing Ohio’s laws to increase protections for victims and penalties for offenders, building capacity of local anti-trafficking coalitions and partners, launching a statewide awareness campaign, creating an online toolkit of resources for the state, and improving data collection to better understand and respond to the crime of trafficking in Ohio. Elizabeth holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Development from the Ohio State University.
